Terms and Conditions of Service for the Photography Expeditions
1. Agreement Overview
1.1 These terms and conditions (the “Agreement”) govern the provision of services by Chris König Photography, incorporated in The Netherlands, with its registered office at Treublaan 11b, 3818XA, (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”), in relation to the client (referred to as “traveller” or “you”).
1.2 By accessing or using our website (www.chriskonig.com) and/or booking our photography tours, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 To book a photography tour, you must complete the booking process on our Site, providing accurate and complete information.
2.2 A Pre-Payment for the tour is due at the time of booking. You will receive an invoice for the Pre-Payment after your booking is confirmed..
2.3 Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1 You may cancel your booking subject to the cancellation policy outlined as follows:
3.1.1 Deposit of 25% of the total price of which €250 is non-refundable
3.1.2 +90 Days Before The Trip | 100% Refund (less €250 deposit)
3.1.3 60 – 89 Days Before The Trip | 50% Refund (less €250 deposit)
3.1.4 30 – 59 Days Before The Trip | 25% Refund (less €250 deposit)
3.1.5 Less than 30 Days Before The Trip | 0% Refund
3.2 Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with our refund policy.
4. Changes to Tours
4.1 We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or other aspects of the tour due to unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant changes.
4.2 We are not responsible for any additional costs or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of itinerary modifications or cancellations due to unforeseen disasters – such as an earthquake, volcanic eruption, flood, typhoon, fire, weather conditions, or an act of governments(s) or other authorities such as war, strikes, political chaos, riots, quarantine, customs regulations, delays or changes in itineraries or schedules by those out of our control – including but not limited to accommodation, transportation, or meals.
5. Termination
5.1 We may terminate the Agreement before the start of the journey and refund all amounts paid by the Traveler for the Trip without being liable for compensation:
a) if the number of registrations is less than the minimum specified in the Agreement, and the Traveler is notified of the termination no later than 30 days before the start of the Trip.
b) in case of force majeure, including unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
5.2 Refund of Paid Travel Sum
In the above cases, we will promptly and no later than within 14 days refund amounts already received. Costs incurred by the Traveler for services outside the Agreement, such as vaccinations, visas, purchase of materials, insurance, and, if not included in the Trip, the flight, tickets, accommodation, etc., are not reimbursed.
5.3 Termination Due to the Traveler’s Actions
If the Traveler does not meet the pre-established participation requirements or provides incorrect or incomplete information about experience, skills, physical or mental condition, or other relevant matters either directly or on behalf of the Traveler, we have the right to terminate the Agreement. This does not affect other rights of us.
6. Participant Responsibilities
6.1 Participants are responsible for their own health, safety, and compliance with local laws during the tour.
6.2 Participants must follow any guidelines or instructions provided by our guides and staff.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 All content on our Site, including but not limited to text, images, and videos, is our intellectual property and may not be used without our express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property during the tour, except where such loss or injury is caused by our negligence.
9. Data Protection and Privacy
9.1 We collect, process, and store personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Our Privacy Policy, available on our Site, provides more information on how we handle personal data.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1 This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amersfoort.
11. Miscellaneous
11.1 If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11.2 We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our Site.
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

We are affilitated with Garantiefonds GGTO
The Garantiefonds GGTO ensures that you will receive a refund of the portion of your travel sum already paid if the tour operator were to go bankrupt. This can be before your departure or even during your stay at the location. Furthermore, the Garantiefonds GGTO guarantees your return journey in the event that the tour operator, due to bankruptcy, is no longer able to arrange it.
